Both railway and metropolitan trains are equipped with data collection systems (black boxes) which record, either on paper or in digital form, information such as:
- speed
- distance traveled
- times
- the driver’s activity
which help to monitor the condition and performance of the vehicle as well as provide necessary and valuable data in the event of an accident.
